Our God never gives us the spirit of fear
The fruits of the Spirit he brings ever near
His patience, His mercy are ours to receive
If we are but worthy, if we but believe.
2.
Our God never gives us the spirit of hate
He helps us to see and with others relate.
His visions of others He’ll gladly bestow
If we will but open our vessels to know.
3.
Our God never gives us the spirit of pride
So whether we take it is ours to decide.
His meekness, completeness we can emulate
If we but allow Him us new to create.
