Hymn Text: Though We’re Broken Vessels

Date: May 6th, 2017
Title: Though We’re Broken Vessels
Meter: 6 6 6 6 D
Topic: healing, atonement, grace

Though we’re broken vessels
We’re in the potter’s hands,
Broken by the pestle
And ground into fine sands.

He takes broken pieces
And fills them with new clay
When His molding ceases
No blemish will then stay.

Though we’re vessels broken
We must not so remain,
For it’s as our God has spoken
He will our healing sustain.

He repairs our vessels fully,
In His improved design.
Soon rebuilt and patterned wholly
Like His vessel divine.
