Date: August 12th, 2017
Title: Come and Feast
Meter: 8 8 8 8 8 8
Topic: the Second Coming, preparation, rejoicing

1.
Come and feast on this happy day!
Take your place, the bridegroom’s nearing.
Cast all your idle fears away!
Hail the time of his appearing.

With robes renewed and our lamps lit,
At his table we all shall sit.

2.
Come and feast, there is room for all!
Eat your fill, no one will lack.
We listened for the bridegroom’s call.
We rejoice, for he is back!

With robes renewed and our lamps lit,
At his table we all shall sit.

3.
Come and feast and dry both your eyes
For mourning will be no more.
Taste of the healing he supplies.
Revel in all that is in store.

With robes renewed and our lamps lit,
At his table we all shall sit.
