Hymn Text: Your Neighbor Bears a Burden

Title: Your Neighbor Bears a Burden
Meter: 8 7 8 7 D

1.
Know your neighbor bears a burden
Perhaps heavier than yours
Know your neighbor bears with sorrow
Hidden behind heavy doors

All of us have bowed in sickness.
All of us have cried in pain.
All of us have tasted grief
All of us have felt the rain.

2.
Know your neighbor bears a burden
How hard to bear you know not
Know your neighbor too hast lost
A battle that was dearly fought.

All of us have grieved in parting
All of us have shied in fear
All of us have sunk in worry.
All of us have lived with tears.
