Hymn Text: When All Shall Be Restored

Title: When All Shall Be Restored
Meter: 8 8 8 8 10 10

1.
Our weaknesses will pass away,
Our sorrow will no longer stay,
When earth is made again, like new,
The troubles of the night are through.

With gratitude, we wait upon the Lord,
For that bright day, when all shall be restored.

2.
Our sicknesses all soon will cease,
Our warring lands will be at peace.
When Christ returns, again to reign,
All nations will true rest obtain.

With gratitude, we wait upon the Lord,
For that bright day, when all shall be restored.

3.
Our pain of ev’ry kind will end,
We’ll see each long departed friend.
When angels call for us to rise,
And join them in the holy skies.

With gratitude, we wait upon the Lord,
For that bright day, when all shall be restored.

Hymn Text: Wise, Not Foolish

Title: Wise, Not Foolish
Meter: 8 6 8 6 D

1.
The scriptures tell of virgins ten
Awaiting the Bridegroom.
But when he’d come, they knew not when,
But knew it must be soon.

Then five, they filled their lamps with oil,
And watched all through the day.
But five thought this too great a toil,
And cast their chance away.

2.
Though faithfully they watched and prayed,
He still did not appear.
The foolish five reclined, delayed,
Until the night drew near.

Then five, they rose to join the feast
And used their lamps to see.
But five soon found it was too late
To pay the entrance fee.

3.
The foolish five could not partake
Of others’ borrowed light.
They struggled with so much at stake
To navigate the night.

Then five partook and did adore
The Bridegroom’s holy face.
But five remained without the door,
And left in deep disgrace.

4.
In latter days we still await,
The coming of our Lord.
We labor, though the hour grows late
To make sure we have stored,

The precious oil within our hearts,
Allowing us to see,
The pathway when His feast day starts,
And wise, not foolish be.

Hymn Text: Their Precious Cost

Title: Their Precious Cost
Meter: 8 8 8 8 10 10

1.
The sheep that wanders on its own,
That willingly has gone astray,
Unto the Shepherd still is known,
And He will seek without delay.

Unto the Shepherd, we are never lost,
He knows His sheep, He knows their precious cost.

2.
The golden coin once lost by chance,
Now hidden in a shadowed place,
Is sought by more than just a glance,
But through the house at frantic pace.

Unto our master, we are never lost,
For he knows each coin, He knows its precious cost.

3.
The wasteful son, who took his part
And squandered it with awful sin.
His father kept within his heart,
Saw him afar, and brought him in.

Unto our Father, we are never loss,
For He knows each one, He knows each precious cost.

Hymn Text: The Lord’s Bounty

Title: The Lord’s Bounty
Meter: 8 8 8 8

1.
Though all my life I bless and serve,
I never could at all deserve,
The pardon that Thou givest me,
The chance to cast my cares on Thee.

2.
The gift of every mortal breath,
The shield against the sting of death,
The pow’r to act and think and move,
The wonders that Thy love will prove.

3.
The love of family and friends
The strength of bonds that know no ends
Thy voice that comforts and inspires,
The answers that my heart inquires.

4.
For all these things and many more,
All blessings that Thou hast in store,
We thank Thee, Lord, with cheerful voice,
And in Thy bounty we rejoice!

Hymn Text: Our Spirits in This World are Not at Home

Title: Our Spirits in This World are Not at Home
Meter: 10 10 13 11

1.
Our spirits in this world are not at home,
For now it’s from our Father that we roam.
Now hidden by a veil, clouds of glory still we trail,
From that brightest world that is our truest home.

2.
Our spirits in this world still crave the love
That first they felt when once they dwelt above,
And still on earth we feel love from parents who are real,
Who send glimpses through each other of their love.

3.
Our spirits in this world must not long stay,
For mortal things must surely pass away,
Replaced by holy light at the end of mortal night,
We’ll rejoice that we have come back home to stay.

Children’s Song Text: Choose to Be Cheerful

Choose to Be Cheerful
Meter: 8 8 8 8 11 11

1.
So even on the worst of days
I still decide how I will be.
For If my smile goes or stays,
That is a choice left up to me.

I choose to be cheerful! I choose to be glad!
As one of God’s children, how can I be sad?

2.
So even when the day goes wrong
I still decide how I react.
Perhaps I’ll pout or sing a song,
I should choose now how I will act.

I choose to be cheerful! I choose to be glad!
As one of God’s children, how can I be sad?

3.
So even when no one is kind
I still will never lose my worth
For Heav’nly Father helps me find
The greatest happiness on earth.

I choose to be cheerful! I choose to be glad!
As one of God’s children, how can I be sad?

Hymn Text: The Last Days Have Arrived

Title: The Last Days Have Arrived
Meter: 6 6 6 6 D

1.
The last days have arrived
The signs are fully clear,
The truth has long survived
Now we must hold it dear.

For soon we will not stand,
Without God’s holy shield
Nor strive as He has planned
Without the sword we wield.

2.
The last days shall be filled
With wickedness and greed,
The prophecies fulfilled
Will grant the strength we need.

To flee the stain of sin
And stand on holy ground
Then cleansed without and in
We shall be worth found.

3.
The last days shall bring piece
To those who God believe
For light shall then increase
Though devils may deceive.

The wicked shall depart
Consigned to their our place
The reign of Christ shall start,
As we shall see his face.

Hymn Text: O, Lord, Accept My Offering

Title: O, Lord, Accept My Offering
Meter: 8 6 8 6 D

O, Lord, Accept My Offering
Receive my meager mites
In virtue of Thy suffering
Raise me to greater heights.

Despite my ev’ry labor here
I never can repay.
The debt I owe to Thee most dear
I think on ev’ry day.

2.
O Lord, accept my gratitude
Receive my earnest praise
Observe my humble attitude
And hear the prayers I raise.

Despite my ev’ry thankful thought
I never can repay
The sacrifice Thy Son has wrought,
I think on ev’ry day.

3.
O, Lord, accept my broken heart
Receive my offered will,
Then sanctify my ev’ry part
And bid my soul be still.

Despite my ev’ry contrite hour
I never can repay
The grace Thou gives with holy pow’r,
I think on ev’ry day.

Lord Jesus

Title: Lord Jesus
Meter: 6 8 8 8 8

1.
Lord Jesus, Lord Jesus,
Lord Jesus lay upon the hay.
He came to earth a simple way,
With loving parents living there,
Who watched God’s son with tender care.

2.
Lord Jesus, Lord Jesus,
Lord Jesus took upon his knee,
A child and said, “Come all to me.”
Though others said, “Turn them away,”
He smiled at them and let them stay.

3.
Lord Jesus, Lord Jesus,
Lord Jesus healed the blind and lame,
He loved the poor and rich the same.
He calmed the sea, He raised the dead,
The Gospel everywhere He spread.

4.
Lord Jesus, Lord Jesus,
Lord Jesus died that we might live,
That God may all our sins forgive.
Though three days He lay in the grave,
He rose again our souls to save.

5.
Lord Jesus, Lord Jesus,
Lord Jesus will soon come again.
Although we do not know just when.
We should not let our hearts be scared,
But make sure that we are prepared.

Hymn Text: It’s Not for Us to Judge

Title: It’s Not for Us to Judge
Meter: 6 6 6 6 D

1.
It’s not for us to judge,
It’s not for us to choose
To hate, to bear a grudge.
To mock or to abuse.

For Christ bore many pains,
Endured a crown of thorn,
And even bound in chains,
He did not turn to scorn.

2.
It’s not for us to keep
Our help from those around
To turn from those who weep
As though we heard no sound.

For Christ saw many needs,
He freely sought to fill,
He blessed all through His deeds,
And loved the sinner still.

3.
It’s not for us to say
What worth each person hides,
How much his trials must weigh,
What grief he holds inside.

For Christ knew hidden pain,
And took them as His own.
He gave His blood like rain,
Our sorrows to atone.
