Within our fold, some sheep will fall
To sickness or as helpless prey.
And some who hear the Shepherd’s call
Will turn from Him and stray.
There is another fold of light
Where all these things shall be made right.
2.
Some sheep still suffer in the cold
Some sheep still lack for food and drink.
Some sheep will doubt and leave the fold.
Some sheep will deep in sadness sink.
There is another fold of light
Where all these things shall be made right.
3.
Though our wool is white as snow
Some mortal pain we still must bear.
Our pain our Shepherd to does know,
He bore it and became aware.
Because the Shepherd did atone
All sheep must never walk alone.
