About

The Song of the Righteous is a website dedicated to proving resources to church choir directors, specifically as well to those who direct LDS Ward, Branch, and Stake/Regional Choirs.

The name of the site comes from a verse in the Doctrine and Covenants, an LDS book of scripture.

“For my soul delighteth in the song of the hear; yea, the song of the righteous is a prayer unto me, and it shall be answered with a  blessing upon their heads.”

-Doctrine and Covenants, Section 25, Verse 12

All the music here is provided for free and may be used for all non-commercial uses. If you wish to record any of the music for commercial use, please contact me to make arrangements.

This blog is run by Michael D. Young, who enjoys singing with the Mormon Tabernacle Choir and is a published author. You can read more about him at http://www.writermike.com.

  1. Tried to submit a hymn through the link and it kept coming back “invalid”. Is there a different email address I can send my PDF?
